Dr. Katha Desai is a dedicated fertility specialist and gynecologist with extensive training and experience in reproductive medicine. She holds an MBBS, MS in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and DNB in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has pursued a Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine from leading centres in Mumbai and Gujarat, and holds an Advanced Diploma in Reproductive Medicine from Kiel, Germany, a globally recognized hub for reproductive science and fertility training.
Dr. Desai currently heads the Life Fertility Centre at Nirmala Maternity and Surgical Hospital, South Mumbai, where she leads a state-of-the-art IVF unit dedicated to advancing women’s reproductive health through compassionate, evidence-based care. She has been an active member of the Mumbai Obstetric and Gynecological Society (MOGS) and served on its Youth Council for several years, contributing to academic and community initiatives in women’s health.
Dr. Desai has also authored and co-authored research papers in reputed national and international journals and is a co editor in FOGSI manuals reflecting her commitment to continuous learning and clinical excellence in the field of fertility and assisted reproduction.
